The Client Services department has the primary responsibility to ensure WHA and HUD policies are followed, administer applications for low rent housing and provide low rent housing information to Washoe Tribal members. The Client Services staff assists Washoe Tribal members in the completion of applications for various housing programs and services.

Mutual Help Housing
Tenant Based Assistance
Elder Utility Subsidy
Transitional Housing
Security Deposit Assistance
Eviction Prevention Assistance
Some of these WHA programs are dependent on funding. Client Services has the responsibility to assist our tenants in a variety of ways, including but not limited to: providing counseling, referrals for assistance and guidance on how to improve their standard of living. The Client Services department carries out the WHA mission to promote safe, sanitary, affordable and healthy homes for Tribal Members and Native Americans.
