Welcome to the Washoe Housing Authority where we are dedicated to building a better community.  We will work from a consistent core set of principles including integrity, trust, communication, capacity to improve, and dedication to those we serve. The Washoe Housing Authority promotes safe, sanitary, affordable and healthy homes for Washoe Tribal Members and Native American families.

Washoe Housing Authority is open to the public. We appreciate pre-scheduled appointments to expedite requests. Staff is available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Applications are available outside our office and on our website at APPLICATIONS.

The WHA BOC would like to award a gift card to our Native youth graduating from High School and 8th grade who reside in our communities of Carson, Stewart, Dresslerville and Hung A Lel Ti.  We would like to do the same for Washoe enrolled and Washoe descendants living off-reservation.  This includes non-traditional schools and home schooling with an appropriate certificate.

Graduate - Please click on the scrolling 2024 Graduate above, fill in the short form, print it and submit via email to web@whauthority.com or drop off at WHA. We need to have your forms by May 10, 2024 to get your gift cards.

Gift cards will be available after May 27th for pickup at WHA where the graduate has to sign for it - or if pickup is not possible, we will make arrangements to get the card to the graduate.

LOW COST Spay/Neuter Program
